During month of january we celebrate the kannawidan festival.Ilocanos will be celebrating the Kannawidan Festival 2014 to showcase the rich and stunning culture and tradition of Ilocos Sur. The local government has lined up festivities for tourists to enjoy and learn more about the culture of Ilocanos.
Kannawidan Festival is one of Ilocos Sur’s prime events.

MY DREAM, MY FUTURE

Time has passed by and all the dreams we had for our future have not yet come true. The reason is because our dreams and haven't yet become goals.

For me, i have my own dreams to. If you ask me this in my childhood, I want to be a nurse, i want to be a teacher ,but if you ask me now, i have a two major dreams.

 First i want to graduate this school w/ the best grade ever..So my family can be proud of me..

Last , i want my life to be colorful. Enjoying life doesn't waste money, we should use many to do some significative things..

New year!!new me!! It is a very start of the year for me. I had so many things in my list to do, to change my attitude, to do my responsibilities, and to become a good model in this community.

             When the new year comes around it seems like the perfect time for self-improvement. Even though I've always failed my new year's resolutions, every year I promise myself that this time will be different..

essence of christmas

WE are in that special season once again, a season of joy, of peace, of great tidings. A season when we celebrate the birth of Christ the King, the redeemer of mankind! Jesus is the reason for the season.

What does Christmas mean to you and me? ‘Christmas is not just a time for festivity and merry making. It is more than that. It is a time for the contemplation of eternal things. The Christmas spirit is a spirit of giving and forgiving.’.

For God so loved the world that he gave us his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him will not perish but have eternal life.”When we ponder on God’s love for us, we too are encouraged to share love with others, to embrace peace and be our brother’s keeper. When we are imbued with this love of God, we will be always willing to give a helping hand to those in need, to give succour and comfort to the vulnerable ones amongst others.

These are among the names we all know, but countless people lead lives of loving kindness and service to their fellows, with no thought of fame or reward, save their Saviour’s “Well done, thou good and faithful servant”. For, whenever and wherever the hearts of women and men are touched by the love of Christ, there follows a burning concern for the destitute and the disadvantaged, the orphaned and the old, the lonely and the sad.
